Secondary Markets
With the growing maturity of the PPP and projects sector, the secondary market is becoming increasingly active. Projects may be sold during any project phase, whether during design and construction or well into the operational life of a project. There is therefore a broad spectrum of issues and commercial priorities which will differ from acquisition to acquisition and which need to be understood from the outset. Our experience in acting for purchasers means we can quickly identify the due diligence scope and key client issues. We have experience of purchasing mainstream PPP assets, alongside other PPP-type and Joint Venture assets, and increasing in advising clients on the purchase of renewables assets, both early stage and fully funded.
We also support our clients during the management and operation of PPP and PPP type contracts, including change instructions and dispute resolution.
