Public sector authorities face increasing challenges in the delivery of their services, and the infrastructure and projects in support of those services. Budgetary pressures, the scope for, and advantages of, working with other authorities and increased scrutiny from state aid and public procurement perspectives and at audit , add to the challenges associated with successful project delivery.
