Sophie advises clients on a broad range of family law issues including divorce, cohabitation, separation, pre-nuptial and postnuptial agreements and child related issues including adoption. Sophie has a particular interest in cross-jurisdictional matters, including international relocation and child abduction. She is passionate about securing positive, workable solutions for her clients and works with them to achieve a negotiated settlement using alternative dispute resolution methods wherever possible.

Sophie regularly appears in the Sheriff Courts and has experience of instructing counsel in Court of Session actions.
