Having joined Brodies in 2013 as an NQ solicitor, Gemma has defended liability claims and recovered subrogated losses for more than 12 years. She is instructed by insurers, corporates, and private individuals to defend large and complex liability cases and in claims which give rise to reputational or commercial risk. Her expertise extends to all areas of reparation including road traffic incidents, workplace injury, the acts and omissions of occupiers, defective products, and accidents abroad.

Gemma is the technical and innovation lead for liability claims at Brodies. She works with team members and IT colleagues to identify and implement case mapping strategies and to examine and integrate new technology to increase working efficiency and ensure a modern, innovative approach to client service delivery. She is a case supervisor.
