Claire advises clients on key legal issues relating to information technology and intellectual property, and has a wide range of experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts in this area, including IP commercialisation agreements, IT supply agreements, and distribution and licensing agreements. Her experience spans a broad range of sectors, from digital and creative/media, to finance, life sciences and food and drink. Claire’s work also covers regulatory compliance, including data protection and freedom of information, and the development, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, designs and copyright.
She has in the past provided legal advice, in-house, to a high-profile media and digital organisation where she assisted the legal team on compliance with current UK legislation, negotiation of app agreements, and copyright-related issues. Claire previously worked with an international publisher, and uses her experience in this area of business to provide commercially focused advice to clients.
