What is Brodies' Local Government Academy?

Delivered by experts in the local government sector, this programme is a training and networking initiative set up to provide an opportunity for local government professionals to extend their depth of knowledge, breadth of skills, and range of contacts. We base our programme on the feedback we get from delegates, so please get in touch with us here if there are particular topic or issue you would like us to cover in future sessions.

Who is the Academy for?

Brodies' Local Government Academy is aimed at those new to local government or who are returning after a period away from practice. However, we think the sessions may also be of interest to more experienced lawyers in the sector who want to refresh their knowledge/skills in particular areas. 

Why should you attend?

Our uniquely designed programme provides an invaluable opportunity for delegates to take away practical legal guidance and top tips from key lawyers in the sector, as well as the opportunity to network to build lasting relationships.

Each session qualifies for 1 hour CPD (Scottish and English Law Societies) and delegates can request a formal Certificate of Attendance.
