Brodies top hints and tips!
Preparation is always key to how you perform at an assessment so give yourself some time to look at the Brodies website, familiarise yourself with our business and even read about our lawyers.
Think about what questions you may be asked at the interview and what examples you can use to demonstrate your various skills. It maybe worth considering the core competencies our current trainees are assessed against:
- Conduct and communication skills
- Teamwork and adaptability
- Self motivated and driven
- Prepared, oganised and able to prioritise effectively
- Interpersonal skills
- Commercial and profit focused
For presentations and written exercises be clear and concise. It is always good to have a structure so that your presentation takes a natural flow. Always think about who your audience might be and most importantly, read the brief and answer it!
